Purchased from a small-scall miner on our first trip to Africa the characteristic inclusions in this emerald are perfect representations of the jardin emerald effect. We wanted to set the piece simply to let the large emerald take center stage and loved the end result so much that this piece has inspired several more - including the bezel set opal with trace chain.
Each and every gemstone and diamond that goes into one of our pieces is carefully hand-picked by our small team with a focus on creating uniquely beautiful pieces that are also consciously made.
We work with a network of small scale miners across the globe and purchase as many gemstones directly from them as possible. All of our vendors adhere strictly to the Kimberly process, and every stone is inspected in-house before being set.
